I am an Electrical Engineering major from Scarborough Maine. My interests, other than listening to music, are playing music, long walks on the beach and various forms of ton-foolery. My favorite genres of music range from jazz and classical music to all of the rocks including classic, progressive, surf, math, and of course indie.

Born and raised in Portland, Maine’s North Deering Neighborhoods. Attended and graduated from Portland High School, where he found his love for sports. Since attending UMaine he has worked at WMEB doing broadcasting and taking part in shows before becoming the sports director this year. He is an avid Philidalphia Eagles, Red Sox, Celtics fan and enjoys sunny days and coastal hikes just as much as he enjoys sports radio! Tune in Unsportsmanlike Conduct every Tuesdays at 3:00 p.m. and UMaine Pregame every Fridays at 2:00 p.m. to get your daily dose of sports from our on the rise Sports Department.

20/m/Earth - Hello! I'm Walter Kumiega, also known as Woogie, Waldo, Jimmy, Tony, Booger, and so on. I'm in my third year of study at the University of Maine in the International Affairs program. I do website things for WMEB and also spend time bumming social interaction and music off of people, attempting to give the same things in return. Some of my favorite bands are Avenged Sevenfold (all-time fav, have the tattoo to show), HIM, Emarosa, Coheed and Cambria, Iron Maiden, Outline in Color, We Came As Romans, and other ventures like Sigma, Mt. Eden, Basshunter, Seven Lions, Stan Rogers, and Broods. [he/him]

I came from southern Maine to study Chemical Engineering. As the station's resident nerd I'm usually listening to Broadway soundtracks and fixing equipment.

Sometimes I live in Providnce, RI sometimes I study Art History at the University of Maine, Orono sometimes I listen to music nonstop for hours at a time and help DJ's grow their music libraries. Between reviewing albums and talking to promotional companies you can find me shooting photos on my Rolleicord, going to local music performances and playing Buzkashi. Probably one of the hardest questions you could ask someone in my position is "What's your favorite kind of music?" but I;m going to try my best. Preferably I listen to most things under the Indie Rock umbrella or genres that include words like bedroom, lo-fi, psych, slime, longhaired, textural, foamy, sunshine, dusty, aquarium, marble, shoegaze, hotdog, acid, fusion, toenail, noise and surf.

I'm a History major from New Hampshire but also an Honorary Canadian. People often find me to be a bit eccentric, and I'm quite alright with that. My hobbies include playing many different instruments and looking at maps. I identify with toasters and raccoons on a spiritual level. My show is called the Planetarium, 9 to 11 pm on Fridays, focusing on obscure and forgotten psychedelic/progressive oddities (mostly from the 70s, but weird music is eternal). Still waiting for my alien abduction. Please start a band with me.
